So we started out the day at The Lofts downtown. A cute little boutique hotel right in the heart of Columbus. Melissa & Alex have a deep love for each other and it was an honor to be a part of their celebration. The first picture is a shot of this poster they had. It started as a tree with empty branches, then in lieu of a guestbook, guests would place their thump on an ink pad then make their mark and write their name. Such a cute idea! How in the world am I going to plan a wedding without using everyone else's ideas?!
Getting ready at The Lofts. Jewelry, check. Makeup, check. Dress, check. Beautiful Bride!
Melissa did a great job picking out the shoes for the wedding party. Red bedazzled shoes for her and the bridesmaids and these cute little shoes for flower girls and ring bearer! Love them!
While the girls finished getting ready I headed over to Tip Top Kitchen to meet the boys for an Alex P. Keaton. Whiskey & Ginger Ale... mmmm...
After the boys had a drink it was our turn to go outside and start taking some pictures, then the heavens decided to open up and downpour! So we went to the wedding/reception site for some cool pics.
This is Melissa and Alex's son Navin. Adorable little boy! They make such a cute family!
Father and Daughter waiting in the limo looking relaxed.
Oh yes, one flower girl is pulling the other in a Red Rover! And although having the wedding outside would have been beautiful... this ended up being perfect! All the exposed brick and twinkle light added such a unique touch!
Love all the little details at the wedding. Flowers were beautiful! All the little touches made it very personal and special.
It was only fair that Nathan be able to join the happy couple for the first dance. So cute!
