Welcome to a glimpse into Kimberly and Christopher's beautiful wedding day celebration! You wouldn't know it, but this perfect day was planned in just around 7 months! After getting engaged in Hawaii they began planning their big day. Kimberly knew she wanted their ceremony to be held at St. Joseph's Cathedral in downtown San Diego and since there was an open day she couldn't resist. So she buckled down and planned this gorgeous affair! Kimberly and Christopher met on Kimberly's first day in college. If it was love at first sight I can't rightly say. But after four years of knowing each other they decided to step out of the friend zone and begin an adventure that blossomed and grew into a flourishing love. Over the years they've hardly been in the same state (let alone country!) as each other and yet have built a strong foundation that I know they will continue to build on.
Adam and I had our first face-to-face meet with Kimberly and Christopher at a "small" engagement party at Kimberly's parents home. We were one of the first to arrive and as family and friends poured in to shower Kimberly and Christopher with love we were in awe! Family and friends alike were so incredibly welcoming and warm. We weren't treated like outsiders in the least, people went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. And that flowed right into this wedding day. Everyone was incredible! Both sides of the family shaped these two into the people they have become and because of that they attract truly genuine and amazing friends!
Okay, this celebration was a joy to capture! And as I can't seem to go a wedding without tearing up I'll share that moment from this day. As Kimberly was staring into Christopher's eyes and vowing to love him forever and always she got a little emotional - so did I! I couldn't help it! When Adam and I were going through our vows I did the same thing! There is something so powerful about making those promises out loud in front of everyone. Another key moment was when Kimberly opened her gift - she had just gotten done requesting I make sure to get shots of the bracelet that was on loan only to find out that sneaky Christopher had gone and gotten it for her! He's a keeper! Then Kimberly's brother and two band mates serenaded the crowd during the cocktail hour - such a beautiful tribute to the two of them. Honestly, the day was filled with little moments of joy and love!
Kimberly and Christopher, we wish you two all the joy in the world! May you have many many more adventures and a lifetime of happiness! Vendor Information:
