On one of the hottest days of the summer, surrounded by family and close friends, Bri and Ian said yes to forever. Through tears and laughter, their personalized vows spoke of love that has already been tested and proven strong.

Brooke + Richard | Charming Estacada Wedding
As I sat next to Brooke in a tiny coffee shop listening to her and Richard's story, I knew I wanted them to choose us to document their wedding. Brooke has a way of lighting up a room with not only her smile, but the glow that leaks out of her eyes. But when she talks about Richard it goes to an entirely new level.
Cheyanne + Tanner | Colorful Rockabilly Wedding | Part 2
When you first see the way Cheyanne and Tanner interact, there's an interesting dynamic. On the one hand, it kind of seems like it may be a new relationship. "Young Love" or something similar. The googley eyed way they look at each other. An infatuation that is untouched by the reality of day to day life.

Anna + Patrick | Fort Worden Wedding
Amid over cast skies and a light drizzle, Adam and I drove up north to the beautiful setting that is Fort Worden in Port Townsend, Washington. We talked about our plan in the event that everything had to be indoors...
Jessica + Kyle | Intimate Las Vegas Wedding
Well it's been awhile since I've blogged a wedding so please forgive me if I gush a little bit. It took me quite a bit to narrow down some favorites, and I even narrowed down those!
When I was first asked if I'd be willing to travel to Las Vegas to shoot a small wedding, it was a resounding yes. Firstly, I love shooting destination weddings. Secondly, I knew the bride had a heart of gold. Case in point, throughout the wedding day her concern was that everyone (including me) was having a great time. Even as she was having her hair and makeup done she would reach out to those nearby to make sure they were comfortable and enjoying themselves. Well I'll tell ya, everyone was having a blast! All the little comments I overheard from her friends and family were all so supportive and full of love.
So here's the thing, this being a destination wedding, I didn't really have the opportunity to connect with both the bride and groom. I hadn't seen them interact. And it's always interesting to see how two people act in front of the camera. Well they killed it. The love they have for each other is so evident I couldn't help but grin the whole time. Jessica looks at her husband like he's the only man in the universe and Kyle looks at her like he can't believe it. Not only that, but to look around at friends and family and see them looking at the couple with tears in their eyes and smiles on their faces was enough to get anyone choked up a bit.
Okay, enough of that! The day started at New York New York, where both the bride and groom got ready. Then it was off to tie the knot. Afterwards they had a relaxed reception at Battista's Hole in the Wall with the people that care the most about them. From there it was back to the hotel for family pictures and just enough day light for some portraits of the two of them. We ended up at The Cosmopolitan for a couple quick shots and then it was time for the two of them to enjoy being husband and wife with their friends and family.
So in conclusion, congratulations Jess and Kyle! I'm so honored to have been able to capture your wedding celebration! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness and googly eyed mushy romance <3
Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you
