Brooke + Richard | Charming Estacada Wedding

As I sat next to Brooke in a tiny coffee shop listening to her and Richard's story, I knew I wanted them to choose us to document their wedding. Brooke has a way of lighting up a room with not only her smile, but the glow that leaks out of her eyes. But when she talks about Richard it goes to an entirely new level. She simply radiates her love for him. So as I heard tales of how they met and how he proposed, I knew we needed to document this part of their love story.

Over the course of our relationship with these two we've learned a bit about their history. And let me say this folks, life hasn't always been easy for these two sweethearts. While it's not my business to share, I will tell you that I'm so impressed with the love they have for each other. They are truly each other's person. They encourage and support each other in so many very real and tangible ways. Through the good and the not-so-good times, they've built a strong and resilient love that is so plain to see. As they read their vows and committed to continue loving each other through the good, the bad and football season, there was no doubt in my mind that they will do just that and more.

Brooke and Richard have been a delight during the entire process. From a potentially rained-out engagement session that turned into a winter wonderland shoot, to their perfect wedding day celebration, we've so enjoyed every second. Their wedding took place at Mirror Lake Farms in Estacada, OR. It's a property that's been artfully curated for outdoor events like this one. Family and friends worked hard to help them put together this charming and beautiful wedding, and it could not have been more perfect.

Congratulations Brooke + Richard! Thank you for choosing us to document your wedding day!! May you have a lifetime of loving the snot out of your best friend!

When I look into your eyes
It’s like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
Well, there’s so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you’ve come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?

Well, I won’t give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I’m giving you all my love
I’m still looking up

’Cause even the stars they burn
Some even fall to the earth
We’ve got a lot to learn
God knows we’re worth it
No, I won’t give up...
